Acceptance

By using raatools.net you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. The site is operated by Raadig AS, organisation number NO 833 209 132, registered in Norway.

What you may use the tools for

raatools/ is free for personal, educational and commercial use. You do not need a licence, permission or attribution to use a calculator here and act on the result — including in paid work, in a product you sell, or in teaching material.

Results are yours. We claim no rights over anything you produce with the tools: converted files, generated passwords, calculated values, exported palettes. We never see them, and we assert no ownership of them.

What you may not do

• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or the infrastructure behind it
• Scrape or automate requests at a volume that degrades the site for other people
• Use the tools to process or distribute content that is illegal where you are
• Circumvent technical measures, including rate limits on the tools that call external services
• Republish the site's written explanations or article content wholesale as your own

Accuracy, and why you should still check

The tools aim to be correct and the working is shown on each page so you can verify it. That said, raatools/ is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

Some calculations depend on conventions, tolerances, rounding rules or reference data that vary by standard and by region — wire gauge ratings, tax bands, nutritional formulas and exchange rates among them. Where a decision carries real cost or risk to safety, treat the result here as a check on your own working rather than a substitute for it, and confirm it against the standard that applies to you.

If you find an error, please report it. Corrections are made promptly and are the most valuable feedback the site receives.

Not professional advice

Nothing on raatools/ constitutes medical, financial, legal, tax or engineering advice. The health, finance and electronics tools are informational. A BMI figure is not a diagnosis, a loan calculation is not a lending decision, and a trace width figure is not a signed-off PCB design.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Raadig AS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profit or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the service — including damages resulting from reliance on a calculation produced here.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Norwegian law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Consumers retain all mandatory rights under Norwegian and EEA consumer law.

Availability

The site is offered without any uptime guarantee. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any tool, or the service as a whole, at any time. Tools that depend on third-party services may stop working if those services change or disappear, which is usually outside our control.

Intellectual property

The raatools/ name, logo, site design, written explanations and article content are the property of Raadig AS. The open-source libraries the site is built on — SvelteKit, Tailwind CSS and others — remain subject to their own licences.

You may quote short passages with attribution and a link. Reproducing whole pages or bulk content is not permitted without written permission.

Advertising and third-party services

raatools/ carries advertising through Google AdSense and some tools call public third-party APIs. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or availability. See the privacy policy for what this means for your data.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes shall be brought before the Norwegian courts, without prejudice to any mandatory right a consumer has to bring proceedings in their own country of residence.
