Our Commitment

raatools/ is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards across all tools and pages.

Standards We Follow

  • WAI-ARIA — Accessible Rich Internet Applications for interactive components
  • Semantic HTML — Proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and form labels

What We Do

  • All tools are fully keyboard-navigable
  • Colour contrast ratios meet or exceed 4.5:1 for text and 3:1 for UI components
  • Interactive elements have visible focus indicators
  • Images and icons include descriptive alt text or are marked as decorative
  • The site supports dark and light mode with respect for prefers-color-scheme
  • Animations respect prefers-reduced-motion
  • Pages are structured with proper heading hierarchy and ARIA landmarks
  • All form inputs have associated labels
  • The site works with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS)

Supported Languages

raatools/ is available in 13 languages. Each locale uses the correct lang attribute and includes hreflang alternate links for search engines.

Known Limitations

  • Some image tools (crop, resize) rely on canvas interactions that may have limited screen reader support
  • Third-party content (ads via Google AdSense) may not fully meet our accessibility standards
